Description
Come enjoy a day of snowshoeing on the Stake Lake Snowshoeing trails.
We will be snowshoeing to the highest points on the Stake Lake system on the “Bushwacker” trail, returning past the “Basalt Bluffs”.
In the past we have had to break trail on the Bushwacker loop.
•Average/moderate trail over approximately 10 – 11 km.
•Approximately 4 hours on the trail including lunch.
•Meet at Aberdeen Mall parking lot

•Lunch will be at the shelter on the “Bushwacker” trail, above Lac le Jeune
•Snowshoe pass is $5.
•$5 for drivers if you choose to carpool.
•Bring all your snowshoeing essentials, water and lunch.
•Dress for the conditions.
•Don’t forget your camera.

I have been hiking in the Kamloops area for a number of years enjoying the alpine in the summer months. Joined the KHC in 2011 and have been leading hikes and snowshoe events ranging from moderate to difficult for over two years. Look forward to sharing the trail with others in the club.
