Join Carole and John snowshoeing at Stake Lake ( $5 fee), meeting at Hillside Ave meet up location at 9:30am to arrange carpooling if people would like. We will drive to Stake lake and be on the trail by 10:00, expect to be on the trail for 3.5 hours. We will snowshoe around Stake Lake to Cow Creek through Spruce Canyon to the Rattler viewpoint where we will stop for a short lunch/snack break before returning down the hill connecting to a trail leading past Stake Lake to the parking lot. Our pace will be moderate allowing for breaks and to take photo’s. The weather is beginning to get cold again and we hope to beat this weather system. Dress for the conditions, bring your snowshoe essentials, water, lunch, and camera.
