Description
Come join us for some ‘classic’ cross country skiing at Stake Lake. If you can ‘classic’ ski you are welcome to join.
- We will meet at Stake Lake and you will need to purchase a xc ski pass if you don’t already have one.
- We will start the ski @ 1030 am
- We will do a 10 km loop on some beginner green trails that will take about 1.5 – 2 hrs at a moderate pace.
- We will have lunch in the cabin after the outing so if you want you can bring your belongings there beforehand.
- Dress for the weather and bring water for the ski.
- If you want to carpool from town add a comment on the event.
- Planning to ski Hoss, Cartwheel, Cowpoke to Hut and then return on Cartwheel & Little Joe.

I moved to Kamloops in 1994 and joined KHC in 2020. I recently retired and enjoy the following outdoor activities:cross country skiing, snow shoeing , kayaking, hiking and biking. I get out several times a week either with the club or family. I will lead outings throughout the year. Pace will be moderate and steady.
