Description
Carole and I will be hiking on the Stake Lake trails on Sunday and we invite you to join us. We will meet at the Hillside meet up location at 09:30 Sunday, May 28th, people can arrange their own carpooling and we will caravan to Stake Lake. We will hike 9-10 km at a moderate pace taking about 3.5 hours on the trail. Mosquitos will most likely be out, bring your hiking essentials, hiking poles, lunch, hydration, and your camera. Dress for the conditions, we will stop for a break at a viewpoint for a snack or lunch.
I have been hiking in the Kamloops area for a number of years enjoying the alpine in the summer months. Joined the KHC in 2011 and have been leading hikes and snowshoe events ranging from moderate to difficult for over two years. Look forward to sharing the trail with others in the club.
