Description
- Let’s meet at Stake Lake at 10am as the West Coast Amusements is using Hillside and Aberdeen Mall.
- Come enjoy a day of hiking the snowshoe & xc ski trails at Stake Lake. We will be checking out Basalt Bluffs, the views from Bushwacker & Vista lookouts
- Expect some snow, ice and mud. Bring ice grips (if you want) and poles. Dress for the conditions
- Average/moderate trail over approximately 12 km.
- Approximately 4 hours on the trail including breaks.
- Breaks/snack will be at the lookouts.
- Bring all your essentials, water and lunch.
- Don’t forget your camera.

In 1994 Kevin and I left Vancouver to move to Kamloops where we started our family. We joined the KHC in 2020.We are retired and enjoy hiking, snowshoeing, cross country skiing, biking, kayaking and stand up paddle boarding. We try to get out several times a week with the KHC or friends.The hikes we enjoy most are on defined trails with a moderate and steady pace.Hope to see you soon on the trails.
