Join Carole and John as we explore some areas between Valleyview and Juniper Ridge. We will meet at the east end of Valleyview Drive near Grand Blvd at 9:00am on Friday March 22. This will be an “on trail”/”off trail” hike through bunchgrass and sagebrush. The earlier start is to try and avoid ticks, they are definitely out. We will follow some trails, then leave the trails to explore some unique silt bluff features. If you are uncomfortable with steep drop offs, this hike will not be for you as they will be on both sides of the trail on one of the portions. Bring your hiking essentials, poles if you prefer, dress for the conditions, this is about a 2.5 hour hike, if you want a snack, bring something easy. This hike is not suitable for dogs.
