This hike is for new members to the club this year. The first 6 registrations will be new members, and after that I will open the event up for another 5 returning members. With myself this will make a group size of 12.

This hike is usually one of the first posted by our club, and this year it has already been posted in January and Febuary. Trailhead is at the cemetery just past Savona and follows a clear, undulating trail along the north side of Kamloops lake, open to many lovely views.

We will go down onto the beach to eat lunch. The round trip is 8-10 km and usually takes 3 hours, plus breaks. At this time of year it may be muddy but generally it is very dry with a couple of short gravelly sections.

We will meet at the Hillside meet up spot in Kamloops at 0930 and car pool, or car convoy, to trailhead. If you choose to carpool be prepared to pay a gas contribution as decided by the driver.

Registration will be opened after February 15th once new members have joined the club.
