Description
We are going to take advantage of this unusual weather. Join us as we hike the Sabiston Creek trail near Savona on the north side of Kamloops Lake. This is about a 9km (return) trail leading to the beach where we will have a snack/lunch break. The forecast is in our favor at this time, trail conditions should be dry. We will meet at Hillside parking lot if people would like arrange to carpool. We will leave the parking lot by 9:30am and caravan to the parking lot near the Savona cemetery. Dress for the conditions, bring your hiking essentials, lunch, and camera, also bring your spikes which we will probably not require. If the event is full, watch for cancellations.

I have been hiking in the Kamloops area for a number of years enjoying the alpine in the summer months. Joined the KHC in 2011 and have been leading hikes and snowshoe events ranging from moderate to difficult for over two years. Look forward to sharing the trail with others in the club.
