Join Carole and John for a loop hike at Mt Rose Swanson above Armstrong.  People travelling from Kamloops can meet and depart Valleyview arena at 9:30 on Saturday morning, we will be leaving from Chase and meet at the trailhead. Google maps indicates 1 hour 12 minutes travel time from Valleyview arena. Trail conditions are unknown at this time, we will hike a 7.5 km loop (about 3.5-4 hours on the trail) to a few viewpoints having a lunch/snack break at the top. If the skies are clear, we could have views of Swan Lake and Okanogan Lake near Vernon. Bring your cleats (they may be needed) , hiking essentials, lunch, dress for the conditions. We will be hiking at a moderate-slower pace, there will be lots of time for photos and enjoying the surroundings.
