Description
UPDATE: Be sure to bring your woolies – long johns, toques, gloves, neck/face scarves! Looks like windchill possible down to minus 12. And boots with good traction, or additional traction/trax, as we have a steep downhill section to start for approx 800m length. Otherwise, looks like it will be a sun-shiny day!
Come for a morning hike in upper Rose Hill. After a short steep down-hill section, the trail winds through some lovely mature forest. We’ll then be on a double track meeting up with Scott Road (a less-travelled dirt road), with lovely grasslands and views over Kamloops.
Meet at the old water tower on Rose Hill road past the main residential area (see link below) just before 10:00am. There is parking on either side of the road by the water tower.
We should be done around noon. Bring a snack if you like, for a short mid-hike break.
Weather dependent. Check here for updates the night before.
