Description

I have not done this trail before but it has been recommended to me by ‘locals’.   I may go out before this hike to check it out but life is busy so it could be an exploratory one for me.   Anyway, we will meet at the trailhead at 1000.   Trailhead is at the end of the South Paul lake road (along past the houses) to a parking area where the road ends.

The trail appears to climb up through the forest and ends at a glorious viewpoint over Paul lake at Rockface.  We will have lunch here then come down the same way.   The round trip is about 11 km and climbs some 500 m.   As I have not done this trail I do not know how steep or narrow it is but I believe it is a good well marked trail.  If we have a dump of snow before then this hike will be changed to a more local one with less snow.

You are welcome to bring your furry friend but be prepared to keep them on leash.
