Description
Revised to a Plan B because of “iffy” weather.  A local hike of about 2 hours.  Meet at Aberdeen Mall at 9:00
An all-day hike to the summit of Alpaca
- meet early to carpool
- hike from Zopkios Rest Area up to the summit of Zupjok Peak
- continue along the ridge over Llama Peak and up to Alpaca and back
- this will require steady hiking to get out and back in a day (6.5 to 7 hours) to cover about 18km
- a scenic, but demanding route so fitness requirements are high
- some forest to work through on the south face of Zupjok
- Â a long day so adequate preparation is essential
- bring lots of water
