Description
This hike takes you up to a viewpoint high above the valley floor on the Dewdrop Range.  The hike up is a steep, loose, scrambley, off trail route with some steep loose areas so good boots and poles are needed.
We will climb up to a superb viewpoint for lunch, then hike down the main Dewdrop trail back to our cars.  Bring plenty of water for this one, and we will be taking breaks on the way for both water and breathing!! This is not a long hike but has a good elevation gain of 600 m.  The trail down is steep and has some loose sections.
This event will be enabled a week or so before the hike.  This is not a suitable one to bring a dog along so for this one leave your furry friend at home.
We will meet at 0930 at the Airport Dog park to carpool to the parking area.  TIME CHANGED THIS MORNING DUE TO WEATHER FORECAST.
