The Raven trail wanders along the marshes of Shuswap Lake at Salmon Arm and at this time of year it should be possible to view migrating birds, and other shore life along the easy gravelled trail.   There are several boardwalk sections and viewing platforms.   It is an easy 8 km out and back trail with a side trip around Christmas Island.

This will be a gentle ramble in the hopes of seeing birdlife and other wildlife.   Bring binoculars and cameras.   Lunch will be at some point along the trail.

As this is more of a social event/wildlife watching/ramble it is not necessary to bring all your 10 essentials.   Water, food, extra layers, and binoculars should be enough.

The official KHC event will finish at the end of this ramble then there is an optional wine tasting event on the way home at Monte Creek Winery.   Please indicate if you are coming to this event as we will book a tasting for our group.
