Description
This hike and social is primarily for new members. I will open up some extra spots close to the event once we have at least 6 new members. We will meet at the Whiteshield Crescent parking area on Summit Drive then hike down into the park, across the river (if the mtn bike bridge has not been put in there is a very shallow crossing of the creek); then up the other side and up to the tower for a snack break. Lovely views over the city and Knutsford hills. Then we will go downhill to downtown and have lunch at the Kekuli cafe just opposite the hospital.
Then we hike back up to our starting area.
This is a very hilly hike, 10-12 km of⁷ trails, and there could be some muddy patches so poles an asset. It will be 3-4 hours of hiking, plus a lunch break.
The event will be enabled after Feb 15th once new members have been able to join the club.

I get out on a hike, ski or cycle ride several times a week either with the club or family and enjoy running multi day trips as well as day outings.I will lead fairly strenuous, moderate to steady paced outings as well as some starter outings.
