Description
We will meet at the parking area on Summit Drive and Whiteshield Crescent to leave at 5.30. We will follow trails down to the creek in the park, cross over and walk up to the tower for some great views of Knutsford and the city. We will then go down to the coffee shop at the hospital for a wee break, then up again back to the parking lot. Bring a headlamp as this is an evening hike, plus some water and snack.
** The creek is running really high and there is one crossing with logs as a bridge. Bring water shoes if you choose to cross beside the bridge – ankle/calf deep.

I have been retired for several years now and enjoy many activities in the outdoors such as hiking, cycling, skiing, backpacking. I have lived in Canada for the last 35 years and spent a great deal of time exploring the Rockies, K-country, Kootenays and parts of BC.
I get out on a hike, ski or cycle ride several times a week either with the club or family and enjoy running multi day trips as well as day outings.I will lead fairly strenuous, moderate to steady paced outings as well as some starter outings.
