Description
Join us as we do a fun, easy local hike.
We’ll hike along the picturesque shore of Paul Lake where spring Balsam Roots and wildflowers should grace the way before taking the trail to the top of Gibraltar Rock with magnificent views of Paul Lake and area, a perfect spot to enjoy our lunch.
Our meet up spot will be next to the gravel pit on the Paul Lake road where we’ll arrange car pooling and leave at 10:00 for the trailhead .
If carpooling, please ensure that you discuss with the driver, prior to leaving, a fee for compensation- we suggest $5.00.
Bring your ten essentials, lunch, water, and of course your camera, you will want to capture this scenic hike ! Dress for the conditions.

I have been hiking in the Kamloops area for a number of years enjoying the alpine in the summer months. Joined the KHC in 2011 and have been leading hikes and snowshoe events ranging from moderate to difficult for over two years. Look forward to sharing the trail with others in the club.
