Description
The winter weather is cooperating and the latest dump of powdery snow has left the conditions perfect for another stomp at night.
We will head up off the Lac du Bois Road into a series of knolls, ridges and hills. Â Bob, Nic and I set a track on Monday, so as long as the wind doesn’t fill everything completely in, we shouldn’t have to do too much trail breaking.
If it is a clear night, we should get lots of good views of Kamloops, Mt. Peter and Paul, etc.
We will be doing a lot of ups and downs, so good fitness will be required. We will go at a steady pace. Â Some of the downs can be quite fun. Â Bring something to slide on if you don’t think you can navigate the downhills on snow shoes.
Since it is a work night, we will try to be finished between 8 – 8:30pm.
Everyone will need to be dressed for the weather and possible temperatures. Â If it is windy, please be prepared.
