Carole, John, and Sam will be leading a new members hike on the Sabiston Trail near Savona on Sunday March 17th. New members will have priority booking. Thursday, the event will be open to all members. This is a hike along the north shore of Kamloops Lake, leaving from the cemetery trailhead on the north side of Kamloops Lake. This is a 9 km round trip hike on a moderate trail with a few light scramble sections. We will be 95% on a defined trail, a short off trail section. Ticks are beginning to make themselves present, staying on the defined trail should keep us safe from the ticks. The weather is looking spectacular this weekend, we will have lunch on the beach. Dress for the conditions, bring your hiking essentials, water, lunch, a camera, poles are a personal choice. We will meet up at 9:30 at the Hillside Drive location to car pool, caravan to the trailhead, we should be on trail by 10:00.
