Description
We would like to invite all members on a hike/snowshoe to Mount Baldy above Sorrento BC.
Meet at the trailhead about 10:00 am.
Snowshoes or cleats (traction devices) required for the hike through packed snow.
The trail is about 7.5 km total, about 3.5 hours return, at a moderate pace.
Dress for the conditions, wear layers, bring a lunch or snack will stop at the top of Mt Baldy with views of Shuswap Lake and Copper Island for a break.
Hiking poles can be very helpful if you have them, bring your camera, some great views.

I have been hiking in the Kamloops area for a number of years enjoying the alpine in the summer months. Joined the KHC in 2011 and have been leading hikes and snowshoe events ranging from moderate to difficult for over two years. Look forward to sharing the trail with others in the club.
