Description
A hike to the top of Chuwhels Mountain from the Chuwhels Mountain FSR
- meet at the Hillside Drive meet-up spot at 9:30 am
- please organize your own carpooling; you will need a high-clearance vehicle or arrange your own ride (Carpooling Contacts) to do this hike; please note that many people are still not carpooling outside of their cohort since the pandemic is still present and flu season is on its way
- drive to Lodgepole Lake, then another 4.3 km on a high clearance road
- hike up the rough road to one or both summits and back (7 – 9 km)
- lunch on top
- the higher summit is at 1890m (6200 feet)
- hike at an easy pace to enjoy the scenery

I am planning on recording some video and flying the drone (aerial photography), so if this of concern to you, then don’t register.
