Description
There is a full moon on January 31st, and hopefully it is above the horizon in the early evening! So if the conditions are good, it is an opportunity for a night-time snowshoe up in the McQueen area grasslands and ridges.
It will be about an 1 1/2 – 2 hour round trip from where we park up to the ridge overlooking Kamloops. A good headlight is required.
The pace will be steady, as the goal is to get up on the ridge overlooking Kamloops. As it is a work day the next day, we will try to do the loop and be back at the cars before 8:15 – 8:30pm.
