Description

Sabiston Creek trail is one of the first trails to be ready for hiking in our area.   It is a lovely, easy hike along the north shore of Kamloops lake with great views all around.  We will go beyond the beach area if possible but if it gets too muddy to climb up to a viewpoint we will have a lunch and turnaround at the beach about 5 or 6 km along the trail.

The trail does some small up and downs but does not climb too high.  It starts at the Savona Cemetery and follows a double track at first above the railway tracks then turns into a single track trail.  The drive is some 30 minutes from Kamloops so we will meet at the Hillside meet up spot at 1030 to car pool out there.

It could still be muddy, so bring so hiking poles will be an asset.  There may also be some ticks out by now.
