Description

Join me for a snowshoe at Lodgepole lake.  We will be tracking through some young cutblocks, old roads, and lovely wetlands surrounded by mature trees.  This route has been tracked for the most part, but we may do some route finding and breaking trail.

Meet at Hillside Drive (not the theatre) for carpooling to the lake.  Winter tires are required for anyone driving to the lake which is FSR from Stake Lake.  Please bring a few dollars for drivers if you are carpooling.

Bring snowshoes and boot cleats/traction, as we may modify gear depending on the conditions. Poles are also recommended.  Warm layers required, as weather may be variable.  Bring a lunch or snack for our break. Also see the 10 Essentials list.

Please comment below if you would like to bring a dog (2 max).

Please arrive at the meet up spot a few minutes before 10:30 so we can arrange carpooling etc.
