Carole and John will be snowshoeing Larch Hills on Family day (Feb 17th). Join us as we explore some of the trails. We will pass the ‘magical pond’, an amazing ‘igloo’ along the trail to the South Hub where we will stop for coffee, tea, and snack or lunch. We will continue on one of the trails back to the Chalet (trailhead). I will be checking trails prior to the posted event (cutting trees where necessary), there were several trees down when I was here on Feb 06. Meet at Valleyview arena at 09:00 to arrange car pooling, then driving to Chase to meet up with the hike leaders at the Chase Petro Can. Dress in layers, bring your lunch, camera, and essentials, trail fees $8. People may want stop and join for coffee and something to eat at Barleys after the event.
