Join Carole and John as we snowshoe Mom’s trail at Larch Hills. This will be the last day of February and our last snowshoe event of the season. The group from Kamloops will meet at Valleyview Arena to organize carpooling meeting us at the trailhead or Chase Petro Can depending on the group. There is plenty of snow at Larch, conditions will be subject to this weeks weather. We will go north along the west trail past a small open pond continuing past two igloos through some open marsh areas and forest to the South Hub where we will stop for a short lunch. From here we will continue on one of the trails leading to Mom’s trail (I checked it out last week and all of the trees have been removed from the trail. Dress for the conditions, bring your essentials, lunch and we should have some fun snowshoeing.
