Description
- This event is full.
- Come join us for a week of hiking in Banff National Park and Lake O’Hara
- We will be staying in Lake Louise  for 6 nights.
- We will be camping in Lake Louise National Park campsites.
- 1 night will be spent at the Elizabeth Parker Hut at Lake O’Hara
- The order of the hikes may change according to the weather.
- Be prepared to get up early to beat the crowds on some hikes.
- July 24th  – Leave Kamloops and drive to Lake Louise, meet and enjoy the evening
- July 24th- Optional hike in the afternoon around 2 pm. Â Plain of 6 Glaciers behind and above Lake Louise in the morning to early afternoon – 13 km moderate hike over 3.5 hours
- July 25th – Valley of Ten Peaks/Sentinel Pass above Morraine Lake – 11.6 km 5 Â hours moderate with challenging sections
- July 26th – Iceline Trail in Yoho National Park – full day up to 21 km moderate with challenging sections
- Â July 27th – Helen Lake/Cirque Peak -Icefields Parkway – Â 6 hours 16 km easy to moderate hike with challenging sections near the top
- July 28th – Sleep in day for the Lake O’Hara group before we catch the bus at 3:30 pm. Â The others are free to enjoy the day as they please.
- July 28th – Lake McArthur – 7 km moderate over 3 hours  – dinner at the lake
- July 29th – Down day for those not attending Lake O’Hara
- July 29th – Â Lake O’Hara Alpine Circuit – Â 12 km moderate with challenging sections 6-7 hours
- July 29th  –  Bus down from O’Hara and back to Lake Louise
- July 29th  –  Windup campfire for the evening
- July 30th  – Drive home to Kamloops
- Return to Kamloops on July 30th
- You must be prepared for front country camping.
