Description
Given the conditions, an early morning local high country hike may work out.
- the hike was moved ahead by one day to avoid wet conditions
- meet at Lac le Jeune Campground beach parking area early
- hike on trails along the lakeshore, then onto the Stake Lake Trails, including a less-known trail to the lookout
- lunch at the lookout
- return by double track trails in a loop route (tbd)

- Return to the beach area (a good spot for a swim)
- the event will only be a go if it is not too hot or too smoky, so check back for updates
