A loop route around Lac du Bois using known trails and seldom-hiked routes along a ridge above the lake

• this event will not be enabled for registration until closer to the event when we can get reliable forecasts for smoke and weather
• meet-up at the Lac du Bois parking area by the northeast corner of the lake at 10:00
• hike around the lake and then onto the Upper Grasslands Track to the Mt. Wheeler Road
• some off-trail and some faint trail routes along a series of hills above Lac du Bois, descending at the west end of the lake and then back along the north side of the lake

• we will be finished by lunch time so we won’t take a lunch break along the way
