Description
A hike up the double track to the lookout on Jesmond Summit
- access is by a high-clearance road off the Jesmond Road
- some of us will be camping in the area (Big Bar Lake) so anyone coming from Kamloops will need to meet us at the turn-off (we will provide driving directions) at an agreed-upon time
- hike to the top where we will have lunch, then return by the same route

- If more than 6 people want to come, we will break into 2 hiking groups
- since we don’t organize carpooling during an epidemic, hikers have to either drive a high-clearance vehicle or connect with other drivers to secure a ride
- Some of us are camping nearby (at Big Bar Lake) so will meet anyone driving from Kamloops at the trailhead turn-off at a designated time (we will provide driving directions)
- The people who have booked a camping site and have contacted me are now registered, but more places are open.
- Contact the hike leader if you are interested. (first places go to anyone who books a campsite). We can take up to 12 members, broken into 2 hiking groups.
