Description
A second group led by hike-leader-in-training Chris Becker
A hike on less-known trails in the Isobel Lake area. The route will be Forest Capital Trail > Isobel Lake Trail > Eagles Eyrie Trail > Tapped Out (bike trail) >McQueen Creek FSR > Rock n’ Roll (bike trail) > Griffin Lake > start
- meet at the Batchelor Hills meet-up spot at 10:00 to convoy/carpool
- dress for the weather and conditions
- We will review the forecast and advise the group if any changes are forthcoming
- about 10.3 km on forested tracks with some lakeshore trails
- stay with the group since there are many turns along the way
- faster hikers will need to wait and not get too far ahead; I know the area well and the turns are not at all obvious
- With the new Covid guidelines the group size will only be 6. If a second leader wants to follow us, he or she can post a duplicate event.
