This backpack is replacing the Mt Assiniboine backpack.  Priority goes to those who were signed up for Mt Assiniboine.

The Heather Trail is claimed to be one of British Columbia’s most spectacular multi-day hikes, so let’s go find out.  This will be a 5-day backpacking trip.  We will begin at the upper parking lot, it’s only 5km to Buckhorn Wilderness Camp. There can be a side hike for those wishing once arriving at the base of the Brothers where you can submit them but be prepared for a climb. You will be rewarded with spectacular views of the Manning Park area. The next few days we will continue onto Kickinghorse Wilderness Camp (5km) and Nicomen Lake (11km) as these campsites are perfect stops for your multi-day trip.  We will exit our final day with a 6km hike out.
