Description
Gerry’s Gyrations. Gyration: to move in a circle or spiral back to where you began!
Due to the winter weather all hikes/snowshoeing will be very flexible. I will be posting a meet-up location & time and we’ll decide where we want to be for the next 4 to 5 hours (more or less). As Stuart Mclean said, “your hike (story) will have to be true, entertaining and enjoyable”. So expect that we won’t be staying on trails, we may “go where no man has gone before!”, and it will not be a walk in the park. Solid average fitness level is expected. For the most part these hikes will be less strenuous than Paul’s TRAMPS R US and harder than Michelle’s WANDERWEG. Be prepared for a good, fun-filled, physical outing.
Today’s hike/snowshoe? Bring your camera. There are many strange lava rock formations and a great fire pit area. If you want, bring hotdogs and “somemores”. We will explore the area and almost all the time we will be off trail. Once we are in the gnome/trolls, the pace will allow for many pictures to be take. Please note, there is one short BUT steep hill.
