- hike for about 2 hours +/-
- stop for a break/snack along the way, at a viewpoint (possibly Bighorn Bluff)
- dress for the conditions
- tick season so take the usual precautions
- a low-key, enjoy-the-outdoors, moderate-harder hike led by a volunteer
- some loose footing and some rocky sections
- no waiting lists or prebookings; if full, watch for a cancellation
- there are no real trails in this area, but the routes are well-known by a few
