Description
Frederick Bluffs are located just west of Battle Bluff. This is a true hike as there is no defined trail. The view from the bluffs and the cliffs offer great photographic opportunities.
The undulating and somewhat rocky ridges make for interesting hiking. The route is not difficult but since it is rocky and no trail this hike is for the more adventuresome hiker.
The time is from meeting at the new dog park (airport runway and Tranquille road) to the trailhead and back is usually 4 to 5 hours and since we drive across the CN tracks there could be a train delay.
Bring extra water, your camera, and tick spray.
