Description
I will be trying to get 2 or 3 snowshoes in at the Coquihalla Summit area during March. It is a 2 hour drive (3 1/2 for me), so we will only go if the weather is clear and sunny. The date posted is a best guess, but may change due to changing weather conditions. If you are interested, email the leader to get in the loop. No firm commitments are required.
This is a popular trail for back country skiers, but with the recent snowfall, the trail will likely not be broken in. The trail is steep and we can expect breaking deep snow.   My kinda outing.
The forecast for the area changes daily. Right now, Sunday seems to be fantastic. We can expect a high of -5 with the wind gusting to 10 km/hr, which turns into a wind-chill of -10.
