Description
The Embleton Mountain trail is a trail system that offers day-use hiking trails to the top of Embleton Mountain. The 9.5 kms of trails offer great views of Heffley Lake and the surrounding valley. The southerly aspect trails wind up moderately steep slopes from Heffley Louis Creek Road, through mixed Douglas fir and lodgepole pine forests to the top of Embleton Mountain. Some sections of the trail are very steep. We will take some time to enjoy the views and have a break at the top by the day-use shelter.
Bring a lunch.
