Fall is here and it is time to savour the Fall colors on the Upper and Lower Flume Trails. This promises to be a gorgeous scenic colorful double hike , across the highway from each other. You will hike through forested areas and be surrounded by creeks and small waterfalls. We will begin on the new redesigned Upper Flume trail for a 6 km return trip, followed by hiking the Lower Flume trail, including a side trip to the “stairway to Heaven” for a return trip of 4 km. Lunch will be on the bluff of the lower flume trail above Adam lake.

This double hike is to be considered as easy to moderate with one steep section at the beginning.

Participants are to meet at Market Fresh Food at 09:00am sharp to arrange carpooling and proceed to the Chase Petro Canada to meet the leader at around 0940 am.

We will caravan from there to the upper flume trail parking lot . Please remember to pay your driver $5.00 if carpooling.

Remember to bring your ten essentials, a lunch and your camera. The scenery calls for picture taking especially at this time of the year.
