Description
A hike over Dewdrop Ridge
- meet at the trailhead at 10:00
- the trailhead is the first parking area on the right on the Frederick Road (link to more info).
- participants can organize their own carpooling or convoying through comments or messages
- hike up the ridge (no trail), then along single tracks on the scenic rim, and down a trail to link to the Battle Bluff Trail
- hike out past the Battle Bluff Trail to the East Battle Bluff Shoulder viewpoint for lunch
- hike back up over Dewdrop Ridge and then down to the start (overall a new route for KHC)

- ticks will be out so take precautions
- some rougher sections with uneven footing
- lots of up and down, making it a more demanding route

- a rugged route requiring some care with footing – wear good boots and if you have a hiking pole, bring it
