Description
A loop route around the hills near Deep Lake and back
- Meet at Westsyde Shopping Center at 10:00
- Carpool to the trailhead on Ida Lane
- Hike on single tracks through the forest and on old double tracks in the grasslands
- About 2- 2.5 hours of hiking; the route will depend on conditions
- Tick season
- We will stop for a snack/lunch break somewhere on the trail
- Bring all your essentials & dress for the conditions with good hiking boots & poles.
- Don’t forget your camera.

I moved to Kamloops in 1994 and joined KHC in 2020. I recently retired and enjoy the following outdoor activities:cross country skiing, snow shoeing , kayaking, hiking and biking. I get out several times a week either with the club or family. I will lead outings throughout the year. Pace will be moderate and steady.
