Participants will meet at the Westsyde Shopping Centre to arrange carpooling, ready to leave by 9:30 am.

We will need 3 vehicles capable of carrying 4 people each, two to drive to the trailhead and one vehicle to take the drivers back to their vehicles. Carpooling fees will be $12 paid by those not driving a vehicle, this will be divided between the 3 drivers.

This hike begins at McQueen Lake and ends in Westsyde.  It is approximately 14 km mostly downhill with some rolling hills.  The trail has had a work party doing trail maintenance recently. This is a great trail that meanders through forest and meadows.

Dress for the weather conditions, bring your hiking essentials, lunch, camera, remember to bring a spare pair of shoes and something to put muddy shoes or boots into.
