Description
This is a club favorite, starting at McQueen Lake we will hike down to Westsyde. (leaving vehicles at each end of the trail) This trail is approx. 14 km and runs through forests and open grasslands, and is mostly downhill (with a couple up-hills) . Meet in the Westsyde Mall Parking lot for 9:30 am to carpool to McQueen Lake (leaving by 9:45 am) We should be on the trail by 10:30am. At the end of this hike a couple vehicles will need to take drivers back to their vehicles at McQueen Lake. Approx $5 per person for gas.
Bring plenty of water, lunch, sunscreen, bugspray and dress for the weather. Dogs are allowed on this trail (4 dogs max). Please comment if you are bringing your dog.
