Description
A hike onto routes and trails in the Lac du Bois Nature Conservancy, Lac du Bois Park, and McQueen Lake Environmental Center
- meet at the Batchelor Hills meet-up spot to convoy or carpool
- drive to the parking area
- hike on tracks and routes past Clay Lake to Meadow Pond, then along the Community Grasslands Trail to Griffin Lake, then loop back on McQueen Lake Trails
- lunch along the way at the northwest corner of Griffin Lake
- we will not be going into the McQueen Lake Overnight Center
- a moderate pace with appreciation of nature along the way
