Description
A snowshoe in the high country near McQueen Lake
- meet-up at the Batchelor Hills meetup spot at 9:30
- drive to the parking area just south of McQueen Lake property (on the right)
- snowshoe through the upper grasslands and forest to Clay Lake, then through to Meadow Lake; return on a modified loop route through the McQueen Lake area
- lunch at a spot halfway on the loop route
- some trail-breaking will be required
- dress for the conditions
- a scenic route, off and on trail
