Description
A hike from the Red Plateau Forest Service Road along back routes to the Dewdrop Trail and then a traverse to Castle Butte.
- this is a draft event and registration will not be enabled until closer to the actual date
- a moderate route, but there is a scramble up a rock bluff at the end (not all dogs can make this part)
- lunch at the top and return by the same route
- a scenic route
- none of the turns are obvious (we lost a group that did not stick with the rest last time) so we will stay together for the route out and back
- if conditions are too wet to drive up the Red Plateau FSR, Plan B is to hike from the main road to the top of Jag Hill and back.
- meet at the Ord Road Dog Park to carpool at 10:00
