Description
* After an excellent snowshoe over the Bushwacker trails in January, I’m wanting to re-visit this trail and “flag” the route. Bushwacker “1” required about 4km of route finding and breaking trail (thank you Ernie), this time I would like to “flag” the trail for later use. We will be on the trail 3 – 3,1/2 hours covering about 10km, steep sections climbing to the top requires good strength and fitness, remember it’s just as steep coming back down.
* Meet at the Aberdeen Mall meet up spot at 9:30 to arrange car-pooling.
* $5.00 carpool fee or discretion of the driver based on how many per vehicle.
* About 3,1/2 hours of snowshoeing over moderate/difficult terrain, stopping for lunch along the way.
* We should be on the trail at 10:00.
* Lunch at the small shelter at the peak.
* There is a $4.00 fee to use the trails.
* Dress for the conditions, layers work the best, bring your camera.
* Booking cut-off Feb.06 @ 8:00 pm.
