* Join us in another snowshoe adventure to the top of the Bushwacker Loop (trail ‘F’)at Stake Lake. We have hiked and snowshoed this trail in the past there are some steep sections to reach the highpoint of the trail, if we are lucky, we may get the opportunity to break trail on the back section of the trail. We will return across the Basalt Bluffs and cross through the marsh returning to the parking lot.

* Meet at the Aberdeen Mall meet up spot at 9:30 to arrange car-pooling.

* $5.00 carpool fee or discretion of the driver based on how many per vehicle.

* About 3,1/2 hours of snowshoeing over moderate/difficult terrain, stopping for lunch along the way.

* We should be on the trail at 10:00.

* There is a $5.00 fee to use the trails.

* Dress for the conditions, layers work the best.

* Bring your smile, lunch and your camera.

I have been hiking in the Kamloops area for a number of years enjoying the alpine in the summer months. Joined the KHC in 2011 and have been leading hikes and snowshoe events ranging from moderate to difficult for over two years. Look forward to sharing the trail with others in the club.
