Come and join John and Carole for a spring hike to Battle Bluffs!

Yes, time to get the hiking boots and gaiters out for this scenic hike to Battle bluffs with magnificent views of Kamloops lake. This is a club favorite and it is not difficult to see why once you reach the viewpoint.

This is considered a moderate 6km hike with one steep hill before reaching the summit.

Meet at Brock shopping mall at 10:00  am sharp, carpool to be arranged shortly after and we should be on our way no later than 10:10 am

Bring your ten essentials, pack a lunch, bring poles and gaiters as it might be a little muddy based on recent warm temperatures. Of course, camera will be needed to capture this scenic hike.

If you are carpooling, please provide $ 3.00 to $ 4.00 dollars to the driver based on number of people carpooling in the vehicle.

Lunch will take place on the summit and we will take time to enjoy the view and relax before the return trip down.

Have been a member of KHC since 2011-leading hikes/snowshoes events in Kamloops and surrounding areas since 2011. Extensive hiking in the Rockies and Utah. Have also hiked the Tour de Mt Blanc circuit in Europe and Everest Base Camp in Nepal.
