Description
The weather forecast is looking excellent for a hike above Kamloops Lake. We will park at the first right turnoff on Frederick Road.
Across the road and up the hill will put us on the top of the basalt bluffs. Tranquille will be on your left and battle bluff is to your right. We will drift along the ridge heading west, and over the battle bluff trail while slowly descending down to the Bluebird trail. From here we will head towards the lake and work our way back past the eagle’s nest, over the battle Bluff trail and will take the lower trail back to the cars.
Dress for the weather and carry traction devices.
