Description
The KHC has adopted some trails in Valleyview Nature Park, originally initiated by Doug Smith.
This is a great opportunity to give back and help keep our trails clean!
We’ll be doing a loop of approx 5 kms and picking up trash along the way. The route encompasses the Sagebrush (#6), Coyote Crossing (2), and Sasquatch (7) trail sections, as seen on this map.
- meet at the Valleyview arena parking lot by 9:30 am
- garbage bags, gloves, and ‘garbage-pickers’ will be provided. You may bring a shovel to scoop or flick doggie-doo, if you’re brave.
- we will follow safety precautions and avoid hazardous materials
- Ticks are out, so take the appropriate precautions
- KHC will aim for 3 cleanups per year, minimum, on an ongoing basis.
We will have fun and enjoy the outdoors, while keeping things tidy!
